		<description>(From Frank)

Dear Fellow TASC TMs Exec Comm Members,

As I mentioned at the meeting this past Wed, since I will be not be here on Mon, 5 Oct 09, when our meeting was scheduled, we will try to have a virtual meeting asynchronously (sounds like a good Word of the Day) by using e-mail. Here are the ground rules for the e-mail exchange.

          1. Ensure you include everyone (Frank, Wendy, Joe, Phylisse, Lisa) in any e-mails, even if you are only replying to one person.

          2. Officers should review activities in their area including status of action items from the attached minutes of the last meeting.

          3. Lisa will have to collate the information from the e-mails, so make your responses concise and to the point.

          4. I would like the e-mails to be completed NLT Tue, 6 Oct 09.

     I will start:

          a. The Division &quot;I&quot; Contest is Sat, 10 Oct 09, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30, 21345 Ridgetop Circle, Dulles VA 20166. Wendy is competing as Area I-3 Table Topics Contest winner. Please attend to support her. I, unfortunately, cannot attend.
          b. The District 27 Conference (http://www.d27tm.org/conferences/fall_conference_details.aspx) is Sat, 14 Nov 09, Hilton Garden Inn, 3950 Fair Ridge Drive, Fairfax, VA 22033. You will have a wonderful time at this event. Very stimulating. The President (me) and VP-E (Wendy) of our Club each get a vote in the afternoon District Business Meeting.
          c. Please let me know who you think would be good fits for the VP-PR and Sgt-at-Arms positions. I would like to fill the VP-PR position quickly.
          d. Phyllise, please let us know who, by name, has turned in dues and who has not. Please give us a status of who has not.
          e. Joe, please fill us in on your plans to track guests and hopefully turn them into members. Also, tell us about the your plans for Membership this year.
          e. Frank&#039;s Action Item Status
               (1) I sent the mentor/mentee software forms to Wendy - CLOSED
               (2) I have not as yet been contacting members who have not been attending. I will do this soon - OPEN
               (3) Wendy located the pins. Unfortunately, they have the old ratings on them (i.e., CTM, ATM, etc.). Wendy and I talked about it. I don&#039;t think they are usable. The pins currently cost around $7.00 or $8.00 a pop. Pretty expensive. I think more discussion is warranted before we buy any more. - OPEN

That is about it for me. Please respond to this e-mail with your replies and inputs.

     Thanks!

Subject: Next TASC TMs Exec Comm Meeting - Mon, 5 Oct 09
Importance: High

Dear Fellow TASC TMs Exec Comm,

The next TASC TMs Exec Comm mtg will be the first Monday in October, 5 Oct 09, 11:30 - 12:30, Independence Center, Room W1211 (right next to our meeting room). Remember, we changed back to the first Monday of the month, so this meeting is coming quick.

     My draft agenda includes:

          a. Officers review area activities.

          b. Division &quot;I&quot; Contest - Sat, 10 Oct 09, 8:30 a.m., 21345 Ridgetop Circle, Dulles VA 20166. Wendy competing as Area I-3 Table Topics Contest winner.

          c. District 27 Conference - Sat, 14 Nov 09, Hilton Garden Inn, 3950 Fair Ridge Drive, Fairfax, VA 22033

          d. Finalize how we are going to fill the VP-PR and Sgt-at-Arms positions.

          e. Review who has and who has not submitted dues.

Please take some time and think about what you would like to see on the agenda in your area and others. This is our meeting. Please send me meeting agenda inputs NLT Fri, 2 Oct 09.

As I mentioned at our last Exec Comm Meeting, with the Exec Comm down to five members, we really need to have full attendance at these meetings. Please rearrange your schedule, if possible, to be at this and future meetings. However, if something unavoidable does come up, please send me prior to the meeting an e-mail outlining the activities in your area.

          Thanks!
