Earn PMP Professional Development Units for attending one of our meetings!

TASC Toastmasters is one of the few Toastmasters clubs currently allowed to offer a Professional Development Unit (PDU) to any Project Management Professional (PMP) who attends our meetings.  The PMI Washington DC club (PMIWDC) has sponsored a TASC Toastmasters charter, which allows us to offer this additional benefit to meeting attendees recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI)  as Project Management Professionals (PMP).  Meeting attendees may claim 1 PDU for each 1 hour TASC Toastmasters meeting that they attend.  Please ensure your name is on our attendance roster for the meeting you attend!  We send the attendance roster periodically to PMIWDC to ensure credit fidelity.

To claim a PDU, you must go to the PMI website and login.  The link follows:   http://tel.occe.ou.edu/pmi/PMI_Member/PDUlogin.php3
1. Sign in with your PMI members ID number, your PMP number and your passwords (first 4 characters of your last name)
2. Select Category 3 Registered Education Provider / PMI Component Event and click the “continue” button
3. Go down to Option 1 and key in C046 for Provider ID and the meeting date: MMDDYY followed by “W1” for the Course ID
4. Click “Find Course”
5. Click “1 to 2 PDU Event”
6. Enter “TASC Toastmasters meeting held on (mm/dd/yyyy)” at the “Course or Event Title: (15 words or less)
7. Select date that you attended the event
8. Select 1 PDU
9. Click “Preview”, then, if all information is correct, click “Finalize Submission”
There number of PDUs a PMP may claim is only limited by the number of TASC Toastmasters meetings they attend.  TASC Toastmasters will forward attendance rosters to the PMIWDC annually for auditing purposes.
